When the COVID-19 pandemic began, the Allegheny County DHS began holding regular meetings to update their providers with critical information. I was aksed to create a website to present all communications from the meetings as well as critical information so providers and the public would have easy access to all the services they may need.
The site utilizes accordions to present large amounts of informaton in easy to view and access sections.
The site also has an On the Frontline Stories page, which provides insight to what the frontline responders are doing to help the county residents.
Kudos: Innovation on the fly – Pittsburgh local learning engagement network said the following about the COVID-19 Provider site, “In response (to COVID-19), DHS tapped into the strength of its network to convene partners, identify gaps and elevate equitable solutions for families and communities navigating the pandemic. On Monday, March 16, 2020, DHS implemented a daily briefing system for providers and community leaders.”
