Pennsylvania created the CARES Rent Relief Program to help with people who have lost income due to COVID-19 pay their rent.
The Rent Relief site was created quickly to give residents access to either printable or online applications. It also provides detailed instructions for both renters/lessees and landlords.
With the program available for limited time and funds, it was important to provide program information in a user friendly way and available to as many populations as possible. The translation options were added so residents speaking other languages could access it with ease.
