SAFEpgh is a suicide awareness site bringing together resources for advocates against suicide as well as resources for suicide survivors.
The SAFE (Suicide Awareness for Everyone) Task Force of Allegheny County needed a website to promote their virtual conference and share resources with conference participants. Once the conference ended, the task force wanted to continue using the website to promote resources available for the community.
The clean and simple site was built with a custom WordPress theme using the Bootstrap framework. The homepage provides information about the task force and their mission. It’s also the entry point for the conference page, which allows users to review the conference lineup as well as register.
The Trainings page provides links to ongoing resources for victims and survivors of suicide. The details for each individual resource is housed in a modal window, which is powered with JQuery.
