Science4Us.com is an interactive, educational site for students Kindergarten through High School focused on learning science through experiments, videos, games, and songs. Due to the large capacity of educational materials that Science4Us.com has to offer, they were looking for a way to navigate through each section of the materials easily.
I designed and developed a menu system to navigate their interactive lessons. By using HTML, CSS, and jQuery, I produced, from scratch, a functioning accordion menu in which the user clicks one area to expand and the previous section closes.
The theme of this accordion type of menu was carried through to the actual lesson pages, where the subject sections were split out in an organized accordion menu as well.
